Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use the Yanvay website and portals. Last updated 19 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Yanvay Technologies (“Yanvay”, “we”). By using our website or creating an account in the Service Engineer or Company portal, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our services.
Our services
Yanvay connects companies that need electronics work with Service Engineers, and helps with component sourcing. Our portals are in an early stage and features will be added over time. Anything we describe as planned or part of our vision is not yet available.
Specific engagements, fees, rewards programmes and work arrangements will be covered by separate terms agreed at the time. We don’t guarantee that work, Service Engineers or components will be available.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google.
- Use an email address you own, keep your information accurate, and keep access to your email secure.
- When you register, you choose a Service Engineer or Company account. The account type can’t be changed later; contact us if you registered through the wrong portal.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights through our services;
- provide false information or impersonate another person or business;
- access other people’s accounts or data, or try to bypass our security;
- disrupt our services, or use automated means to abuse them, such as requesting sign-in codes in bulk.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or our services at risk.
Our content
The Yanvay name, logo, website and portal content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission, except as needed to use our services normally.
Availability and changes
We work to keep our services available and accurate, but we provide them “as is” and may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yanvay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or on the site. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
